SIENA CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL
BUILDING BEFORE THE BELL RINGS- PRETECT ERECTS SCHOOL BUILDING IN JUST 4 MONTHS.
Pretect has successfully completed design and construction of the Stage 1 development of Siena Catholic Primary School. This $1.2 million project came as a response to an urgent need for additional educational facilities in Lucas, Victoria and was supported by a State Government Capital Grant.
The scope and nature of this development demanded strict adherence to the highest of standards and a particular emphasis on a fast completion period. The building needed to be completed in 4 months and ready to house students 12 months faster than the normal time frame.
With Victoria experiencing record-breaking rainfalls during the construction period, the offsite production allowed Pretect to build a large percentage of the project with minimal weather obstructions. In addition, the site development and off-site building development were able to be conducted simultaneously, resulting in a very swift completion time.
Pretect once again lived up to its reputation for innovative solutions and incorporated additional highlight window compatibility into the design. This proved to be a very positive addition to the development and the Siena Catholic Primary School was very pleased to welcome a new generation of students into the newly- built facility for the beginning of the 2017 school year.
